Pip Waller is a medical herbalist, massage therapist, plant spirit medicine and shamanic practitioner. She has taught anatomy and physiology to students of natural medicine since 1991. Initially this was in Ireland, to reflexology students at the Blarney Centre of Acupuncture and Reflexology, then since 1998 for the Academy of Natural Health in London and the Meridian School of Massage in Birmingham. Pip has also been a clinical supervisor for the National Institute of Medical Herbalists Training Clinic attached to the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. In 2000 she started The Dreaming Butterfly offering courses in shamanic healing and transformational practices (www.thedreamingbutterfly.com) Pip's teaching style is friendly, enthusiastic and relaxed, and the writing in Holistic Anatomy for Healers, Heretics and Alternative Folk reflects this. She currently lives up a mountain in North Wales.
